lyrics

Blue Eyes by Lynn Gentry

As now the streets turns to grey
You came in passing
As I had nothing to say
Your ears sat listening

Time goes by
As our eyes fade
I don’t know why
You chose me
But in my mind
You look happy
As you’re smiling

Should I let go or hold on
We both have nothing
But all the things we should have done
We both were asking

Time goes by
As our eyes fade
I don’t know why
You chose me
But in my eyes
You look happy
When you’re smiling

Blue eyes in
The night
Drift away
There’s no point
In holding
Someone
Like me
Goodbyes in
The night
Bring empty days

Time goes by
As our eyes fade
I don’t know why
You chose me
But in my mind
You look happy
When you’re smiling
