In late 2010, The Disposition started recording their debut album, with Charles Gonzalez at Mission Bells and Radical Sound. In the studio the band would gain a better understanding of their sound and create what they call Electric Freak Folk, though the sessions only produced three tracks for the debut. In late 2011, The Disposition went into the studio to continue Requiem for the Living.
